Composer
Matt Poulton is an award winning composer who originally studied composition at postgraduate level under renowned Scottish composer, John McLeod CBE. Matt writes and produces music for television and digital media, including BBC TV & Radio, Channel 4, Channel 5, ranging from full classical scores to electronica soundtracks. He has also written, orchestrated and conducted scores for film, including the feature film Monarch, directed by double BAFTA nominated director John Walsh.

Matt's numerous orchestral works have been performed by members of the London Symphony Orchestra and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. Guest conductors of his work include legendary British film composer Ron Goodwin (Battle of Britain, 633 Squadron, Where Eagles Dare, Hitchcock’s Frenzy etc). He has also written scores for several award winning short films, including Girl Afraid, directed by BAFTA nominated producer and director Basi Akpabio (BBC's And Then There Were None, Ordeal by Innocence and The Pale Horse). He also writes and produces music with industry recording artists, including Brit Award winner, Ivor Novello Award winner and Grammy nominee, KT Tunstall. His work for Channel 4 has been recognised with the Howard Goodall Award for Film and Television Composition.
